The Story So Far...
How did we get here?
We often find ourselves asking.
Well, it’s a journey that has taken over a decade (OK, so maybe not quite a thousand miles, but sometimes it’s felt like it!), and it goes a little something like this…
...our Managing Director and Principal Consultant, Jody Lathwell first stepped into the world of recruitment. The next 10 years or so saw him hone his skills as a Recruitment Consultant and Internal Recruiter, picking up a wealth of knowledge and experience on the way.
(well, 2006 to be precise...)
Jump to March 2015...
Facing redundancy, Jody decided to act on an idea he’d been having for a few years, and TAS Recruitment was born.
Those first few months, things were a bit slow. Setting up and developing the business, as well as commitments in and out of work, meant that TAS was more of a side project. Then in December 2015, we got our first proper ‘gig’. Jody roped his brother, Steve in to help him and work began in earnest.
The buzz and that feeling of success was like nothing else, and from that point on we knew that there was only one thing that we wanted to do.
2016 saw the business continue to grow and further successes followed. We picked up clients across the country, and were delighted to help many candidates start or progress in their own careers.
In fact, 2016 was an unprecedented success for us and saw us achieve things we couldn’t even dream of.
2017 has started strong, and sees us moving on to Phase 2 of our plan for World domination;

It’s time to step out of the shadows. We may be the new kids on the block, but we already know that we’re going places.
TAS Recruitment is the culmination of a journey, an idea and a dream. We want to thank everyone who has helped and supported us along the way with this.
It’s been a long ten years, but we can’t wait for the next ten. And that’s the most exciting thing;
